This Privacy Policy explains how RMX Music ("we", "us", or "our"), operated at https://rmxmusic.com, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our music distribution platform and our Google / YouTube integrations (including Google OAuth 2.0 and the YouTube Data API v3 / YouTube Analytics API).

By using RMX Music, including any YouTube Channel features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to registered RMX Music users (including administrators, agents, label partners, and artists) who log in to our platform and optionally connect their own Google / YouTube accounts.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and profile details you provide when creating or managing an RMX Music account.
• Google account profile information (when you connect YouTube): name, email, profile picture, and Google account ID (subject identifier).
• YouTube channel metadata for channels you authorize: channel ID, title, description, custom URL, country, thumbnails, subscriber count, video count, and view count.
• YouTube video and analytics data needed to list videos and show performance summaries you request inside the dashboard.
• OAuth credentials: access tokens, refresh tokens, granted scopes, and token expiry times issued by Google.
• Usage / technical data: logs needed to operate and secure the Service (for example, connection status and error diagnostics).

3. Google / YouTube OAuth Scopes We Request

When you connect a YouTube channel, RMX Music requests only these permissions:

• openid, email, profile — to identify your Google account (name, email, profile picture, and subject ID).
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly — to read channel information (Channel Name, Channel ID, subscriber count, video count, view count) and list videos for your dashboard.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly — to read YouTube Analytics metrics (such as views) for performance summaries you request.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload — to upload videos to your channel when you explicitly start an upload from RMX Music.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube — to manage channel content you authorize through the platform (for example, publishing actions you request).

We do not request permission to post comments on your behalf, and we do not change video settings unless you ask us to through the Service.

4. How We Use Google / YouTube API Services Data

RMX Music's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• To identify which Google account authorized a YouTube connection inside RMX Music.
• To display the YouTube channels associated with your authorized Google account.
• To list videos and show analytics for channels you personally connected.
• To upload promotional music videos and set thumbnails only when you explicitly request those actions.
• To maintain and refresh the OAuth connection so the features above continue to work.
• To diagnose technical issues with the integration.

We do not use Google or YouTube API Services data for advertising, do not sell it, do not use it for independent research unrelated to providing or improving user-facing features, and do not allow humans to read it except (a) with your consent, (b) for security / abuse investigation, (c) to comply with law, or (d) when data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your YouTube data, Google account data, or OAuth tokens with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Data may only be disclosed if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.

Each RMX Music user can only access YouTube data for channels they personally authorized (except where a platform administrator role is designed to view channels belonging to users they manage, still within the RMX Music authenticated dashboard).

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your authorization and channel metadata only for as long as your YouTube account remains connected to your RMX Music account. When you disconnect:

• All access tokens and refresh tokens are deleted from our servers.
• The corresponding channel records and Google identity record are removed from our database.
• We call Google's token revocation endpoint to revoke the OAuth grant.

You may also revoke our access at any time from Google Account Permissions. For additional deletion requests, contact us using the details below.

7. Security

Data is stored on secured servers. Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored with restricted access and transmitted only over HTTPS. We follow Google's recommended OAuth and security practices.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
