Terms of Service

By connecting a YouTube channel to the RMX Music platform ("Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or connecting a YouTube channel through Google OAuth, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them.

2. Description of Service

RMX Music provides a music distribution and management platform, including tools that connect to YouTube channels via the official YouTube Data API, YouTube Analytics API, and Google OAuth 2.0. Depending on the scopes you grant, the Service may:

Identify your Google account (openid, email, profile).
Read channel information and video listings (youtube.readonly).
Read analytics such as views (yt-analytics.readonly).
Upload videos you explicitly submit (youtube.upload).
Manage channel content you authorize through the platform (youtube).

3. Compliance with YouTube and Google Terms

By using the YouTube Channel features of the Service you also agree to be bound by:

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your RMX Music account and your Google account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity performed via OAuth tokens you authorize for the Service.
You may disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from the YouTube Channel Pages screen, which deletes the stored OAuth tokens and revokes the grant at Google.

5. Authorized Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the Service to publish content that violates any applicable law or third-party rights.
Use the Service to violate the YouTube Community Guidelines or copyright policies.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content.

6. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with Google and YouTube. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of those third-party services.

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you submit through the Service. By connecting your YouTube channel, you grant RMX Music a limited, non-exclusive license to access the channel data and to perform the actions you explicitly request, solely to provide the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the Service, YouTube, or other users. You may also delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RMX Music shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
