Music Royalties & Revenue Management

Royalty management in RMX is the reporting of money stores and other partners send for your releases. Artists and labels read statements in the account instead of collecting a separate report from each platform.

Royalty statements

When a store reports usage, RMX posts that statement to the account that owns the release. The share you receive follows the lifetime plan you selected. Current plan shares are on the homepage pricing section, not on this page.

Release-level reporting

Earnings are tied to the release you uploaded, so a label with many artists can see which recording the statement belongs to. Reporting only includes revenue RMX has actually received and matched.

What this page does not invent

RMX does not publish a universal per-stream rate. Stores pay on their own terms, and a statement can arrive weeks after the listening month. Ownership of the master stays with you; royalties are the revenue share from exploitation, which is also part of digital rights management.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I see my royalties?

Logged-in artists and labels see royalty statements in the RMX account after RMX receives and matches the store reports.

Do I keep ownership if RMX reports royalties?

Yes. Royalty reporting does not transfer ownership of your music to RMX.

Why is a stream missing from a statement?

Stores report on their own cycle. A stream is not visible in RMX until that report has been received and matched to the release.
