If your listeners are in Bihar, UP or rural Maharashtra, there is a good chance a lot of them hear you on JioSaavn. It comes pre-installed on many Jio phones and it is also where JioTunes are picked. So your JioSaavn page deserves the same care as your Spotify one.
JioSaavn's tool for artists is called ArtistOne. The steps below follow the official ArtistOne FAQ.
Step zero: be on JioSaavn
ArtistOne only works once your songs are on JioSaavn. JioSaavn says your label can do this or you can use a content aggregator (a distributor). Individual artists do not upload directly.
Claiming the profile
1. Go to artists.jiosaavn.com and click Register. 2. Fill your details and confirm your email using the steps on screen. 3. Search for your artist name. If it does not show, paste your JioSaavn artist page link or a song link into the search bar. 4. Add your social media pages so the team can check you are genuine. 5. Submit. JioSaavn's team verifies your link to the artist and then gives access.
No Facebook or Twitter? The FAQ says you can choose "Don't Have Access" under that field. No official YouTube channel? You can email [email protected] with your other details.
Managers and band members
Managers can register and choose the "Manager" option. A verified artist can also invite people from Manage Team in the Profile tab. A Punjabi duo, for example, can have both singers and their manager on the same profile, each with their own login.
When your song shows up on someone else's page
This happens a lot with common names. JioSaavn explains that if you got access to a profile with no music of yours, email them and they will switch you. But if your songs are mixed with another artist's songs on one page, that usually comes from metadata sent by the distributor. The distributor has to resend correct data.
That is why we ask RMX artists to give us any existing JioSaavn artist link at upload time.
The mobile app
In February 2026, JioSaavn announced an ArtistOne mobile app with real-time data and audience insights. Handy if you are checking numbers between shows.
Small habits that help
- Upload a clear, square photo where your face is visible
- Write the bio in the language your fans speak, with one English line
- Share your JioSaavn link, not only YouTube, in WhatsApp groups
- Tell fans they can set your song as a JioTune from the app
