Visual Claims & YouTube Rights Protection
Visual Claims is RMX Music’s YouTube protection for videos that use your music without permission. It is aimed at artists, labels and other rights owners who need the visual use reviewed, not only the audio match.
What Visual Claims covers
A Visual Claim looks for videos using your music in the picture or the soundtrack without a licence. The homepage describes the service as finding those videos, then claiming them where the rights support it.
Audio-only matching on YouTube is Content ID. Use both when you care about the recording and about music videos or other visual uploads.
Who Visual Claims is for
The service is for artists, record labels and rights owners who can show they control the music. It is not a general takedown desk for songs you do not own.
How a claim moves
RMX identifies candidate videos, the rights position is checked, and an eligible claim is applied. Disputed or incomplete rights are not forced into a claim. A claim can still be disputed by the uploader under YouTube’s process.
